Landscape.
But perhaps only because I prefer a nice landscape to a portrait.

The one on the bottom if that is landscaped version. Both photos are the same size.

I think the bottom is more interesting, but it needs some cropping. Something like this: With the upper photo, the two massive buildings flanking the foreground are too much and there’s nothing outstanding in them, other than the scalloped done. The action is way in back, on the street level. It’s smaller even in detail than the portrait view. Play around with the editing and see what you get. Very nice photo. I like how the red in the neon runs to the phone booth, then to the buses and onto the rose tinted buildings and sky.

And you can see the famous statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus. I'm waiting to see an army of Cybermen appear around the corner...

Portrait for the buildings; landscape for the sky.

I'm waiting to see an army of Cybermen appear around the corner... That's a much better picture than either of the others Pfft, the framing's not good and that person could choose their position while I had no choice. Anyway, the purpose of mine was to show that, while people gravitate to landscape because that's the world we live in, portrait still has its place.

Keep that stuff online

Portrait.
I feel like I get the whole "story" that way where I'm not even sure what's really the subject in the landscape version.
