Campaigners and community members living near an ancient bluebell woodland in Kent say it has been turned into a "desolate wasteland", buried under uncleared, "illegally" dumped waste. A petition signed by more than 6,500 people is calling for an "immediate clean-up" of Hoads Wood near Ashford. In January, the Environment Agency (EA) closed down the site to try and prevent further waste tipping. Ashford Borough Council also said it was also investigating reports of an "odour nuisance". www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czq5nd45p8zo

Not enough dumped furniture. I'd say some companies have gone with the lowest bid when it comes to dealing with their waste.

As luck would have it a group of Travellers seem to have turned the top field of my local park into a caravan site.

Homeless fools live in campers here. But it's not specific to any one ethnic group. I googled "Irish Travellers" and it's described as an ethnic group.

When you see an organised group like that they’re usually Travellers. They tend to marry inside the Traveller community and this appears to have led to some genetic differences from the mainstream Irish population. A bit like red necked Hillbillies.

I saw a couple of cops going over to talk to them but they’re probably waiting for a court order. The field is used for school sports so I’m guessing the council would like to move them on as soon as possible. The thing about the park is that it’s locked up at night so they’d have to climb over a fence if they want to do a bit of late night shopping.

Looking at the photos, it doesn’t look like RV people made that mess. It’s looks like it’s been ground up in a garbage truck.
