In what way am suggesting I have the right to tell others how to live? What people do for fun in private is none of my business. I accept that perfectly happily. The fact that marriage is the union of a man and a woman is a different issue altogether. Your view of marriage is just parroting modern religions who believe they hold a monopoly on "marriage". That's fair enough and you are entitled to your opinions. Basing them on the beliefs of those whose whole belief structure is build on fairy tales is open to question though. Marriage is what people want it to be.

All monotheistic religions are "modern" in the scheme of things, older religions tend to be more Goddess related and less paternalistic.
