We will fly and meet at a specified place in May in California. We will go to a bike shop I know and all rent bikes. (can drop them off at a place not far from where I live) Bring on the plane a back pack with a small one man tent in it. We will then start our biking journey to my house in Ohio. We will ride as far as we can each day and camp at night. We will buy food at stores along the way to eat as we ride and when camping. When we get to my house you all stay a few days and we can eat, drink and talk about our trip. It will be an adventure we will never forget!

I'd love to. I intended to do it in 2008 but got distracted and never came back to it. 2-3 months coast-to-coast, right, depending on much you like to look at the scenery? Couldn't take that off work right now, probably 3 weeks max.
I was looking at the northern route (Dakotas, Montana etc) mainly because it was coming into summer. Which would you prefer?

Yep the northern route would be best because of the heat in the summer. |
