No, I'd be too worried. What if there was an avalanche? What if the pod floor collapsed in the middle of the night? I'd prefer staying at the top of the mountain, I'd feel more secure and the view is probably just as beautiful.

There's only one reason for staying there that makes sense: people are sick of getting back to the office, telling stories about their wonderful vacation and seeing their friends eyes glaze over with boredom. Tell people you stayed at one of these insane and horrific places and you'd get their attention all right.
I heard someone tell proudly of the time he and his wife stayed at an ice hotel and I just thought - what the hell for?
