Other way round now. sure :) i'm not sure what u mean by "rabble" tho. the main reasons for why the Roman Empire fell was due to inner conflicts with the aristocracy and weak unexperienced rulers and leaders, and not bc some Germanic and Gothic tribes were giving them hell and eventually won over them. they won as a result of ridiculously weak leadership.

Multiculturalism destroyed the Roman Empire. Rome had become too big for its own good; it had conquered too many lands and incorporated too many races, cultures, and languages into its empire. When there's no longer a unifying idea or identity to hold a nation or empire together, it will eventually collapse. Also, history is cyclical. Every civilization goes through a birth, youth, adulthood, old age and death. The Greco-Roman world, as noble as it was (at least in the beginning), was no exception to this process. Decline was inevitable.

Decline was inevitable. yeah, true. and it's obvious the American era is coming to an end while the Chinese/Asian era is on the rise and marching on. and it's so true.
