After sitting on my arse for the last 5 months, I was absolutely knackered by the end. My backside was aching, my hands were hurting and my legs were turning to jelly.
Went through the city, through the east end and to the Olympic Park. Fannied around for a while then came back via Islington.
Very enjoyable.

Just got back from Coldrum Long Barrow in Kent with my wife and son, www.nationaltrust.org.uk/coldrum-long-barrow/features/the-conundrum-of-coldrum-long-barrow-in-kentnice walk on a lovely day but nearly killed me, a lot is uphill.

Thanks for posting your pic. I need the stick these days. I went to my allotment and gave one of the youngsters a few quid to clear one of the vegetable patches. Then I made us both some coffee and watched him dig.
They say that hard work never hurt anyone, but the way I look at it, why take the risk?

Caffeine helps them dig longer too.
