Apple four for one.
Tesla five for one.
Should allow a lot more buyers, who were previously put off by the high price, to get in.
Could mean a post-split surge.

Big day tomorrow to see if my theory works.
Both are already up a decent amount since the split announcement, so it seems that institutional investors may agree with me and have got in pre-split.

All of silicon valley sold their TSLA shares yesterday. A few days ago I read Ameritrade had all the shares accumulated and they've been selling to all the robin hoodies on the way down....

Apple are still where there were post-split.
Tesla are about 25% up since then.

Tesla now up ~80% since split. Some institution bought 9400 of Jan 22 1030 calls this morning for $199.20. At the close TSLA was up $94 and the bid on the calls was 237.85 Not a bad.. $36 million made in one day |

Tesla now up ~80% since split. Some institution bought 9400 of Jan 22 1030 calls this morning for $199.20. At the close TSLA was up $94 and the bid on the calls was 237.85 Not a bad.. $36 million made in one day Yep, after the split my purchase price was $451. Now trading at $1,208. |
