Calculating share profits with multiple purchases

So if someone makes multiple purchases of a stock, when it’s at different prices, then sells the same stock at different prices, calculating profit becomes difficult. I’m guessing that at tax time a tax agent would have to do it.

But does anyone know of an app that you could use?
