My point was that the services should be equally applied throughout the Borough. I know for a fact that in posh parts of my borough priority is given to the more affluent areas. My point is that they shouldn't. When I'm lording it in the 5-star, I don't expect Johnny Scumbag in the Roachtel next door to get the same level of service. So, really, you'd prefer the UK to be a plutocracy rather than a Democracy?

But if Ash's layabout friends want to spend their benefits on flash cars rather than looking for work, I don't see why they should not spend some of their unlimited free time filling the potholes they have created.

Because if a poor Conservative voter in a poor part of a borough votes Conservative, then their vote is just as helpful in getting the Conservative party to run the council. Therefore they should be just as entitled to spending in their area as anywhere else in the borough, especially given the amount of central government cash that councils receive. Rather like saying the wealth of London has been built up by generations of Londoners, why should lazy Northerners be allowed to come down here and ponce off our hard earned success in the South.?

You are clearly desperate to create a link but there is no link between 1 person/1 vote and some areas having more spent on them than others. Don't forget that councils have to show value for money to their residents or they will bunk off to the next township where they get better. So now you are in favour of the principle of inheritance with wealth staying in families even though the current family members didn't create it? You do cash in your principles when it suits you.

They called to ask how I was (due to isolating) and if I was having trouble getting groceries, they offered to get someone to do my shopping for me (at no charge). Wow, that's really good - both sensible and really caring. Very impressed! Are you vaccinated, im not and im immune!

It's good they're looking after the elderly. Yes it is so I thanked them for calling but declined the service suggesting there are those more in need than me so please use the time on them instead. But thanks anyway.

Tollah been snippy recently I'm in good spirits. Christmas is here, my youngest is born, my house is paid off, my investments are looking good. Life's awesome. I love all of you. I should probably watch the comments, they work in person but on the internet people in often mistake my jovial fun loving jokes for meanness.
