Do you use the same starting formula every day? Generally, I alternate between two from day to day. One has '*' and '+', the other has '/' and '-'. I use the formula which there was the least of the previous day. Same with Wordle - same two initial guesses each day (unless guess one gives me plenty). Between them, the two words test all of the vowels and Y. I find it best to firstly get the operators correct with Nerdle and the vowels correct with Wordle. The rest usually falls into place from there.

Pure luck on that one. The second guess to eliminate numbers turned out to be the right answer.

Same! nerdlegame 180 2/6 ⬛🟩🟪🟩🟪🟩🟩⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Do you use the same starting formula every day? I know you asked Monkeys but I guess I'll chime in, too. I don't use the same formula but I always use a similar format: Four operators (including the '=' sign) and four numbers. It's not explained in the game, and I credit this idea to Flying Monkeys (Flying/Monkeys , but the '+' and '-' operators can also be used to indicate positive or negative numbers. I've never seen them used that way in a solution but you can still use them when making a guess. For some examples: 6/+3*1=2 8+-4*2=0 1*+9-2=7 And so forth. It helps to narrow down what sort of problem you're looking at.
