I've known a few Muslims who refused to fast because they thought it was too unbearable. Isn't it good for your health, though? Muslims don't really fast during Ramadan.
They enjoy a lavish breakfast every day and then don't eat from sunrise to sunset. My Muslim friends actually gain weight during Ramadan.

No one is forced into it, it’s considered a spiritual discipline like Lent. Catholics rarely fast on their days either. Anyone who health is compromised by fasting without water shouldn’t do it and usually don’t.

I personally don't do this and I know plenty who dont because it defies the entire meaning of the month. We're supposed to value and appreciate the food that we do have. It's supposed to be a struggle as it is for millions of people suffering from poverty. Kinda derails the whole point if people are stuffing their faces and wasting food.

Children are not supposed to partake in it either.

For most Muslims it's not that rigorous. It is a month of feasts for many.

I know a Muslim woman who used to observe Ramadan while running her cafe. Ramadan is a bitch when it falls in the Summer months as far North as the UK. At least they also get to celebrate Christmas in the UK.

I've known a few Muslims who refused to fast because they thought it was too unbearable. Isn't it good for your health, though? Fasting can assist in detoxing the body, but with Ramadan, they fast and then indulge, fast then indulge, within a 24hr period. Polar extremes and conflicts that underlie the confused religion itself.

No, not all Muslims are evil, but the religion they follow is very questionable and the beliefs downright deluded and toxic. The conditioning of this religion, especially the patriarchal notions surrounding it, and the treatment of females and homosexuals is disgusting. So is Christianity. Both are total myths, both teach a toxic message. One is more civilized because it’s forced to exist under secular jurisdiction. Keep in the mind the Catholic Church still treat their female communicants unworthy to fully serve God as a priest. It’s not violence, but definitely a put down of and insult to women. Women can still become religious sisters or nuns though.
