My truck is comparable to this one: Sometimes I think of trading it in, but it's paid for and I don't want payments. I want to put one of those Snug Top campers on it. The idea I'm toying with is customizing it by having the back window removed so that Charlie can have access to the camper. I would make it like a little RV with a bed and camping equipment. If something happened where I had to evacuate due to a wildfire or something, I wouldn't have to look for a hotel that takes dogs. We could just stay in the truck.

They've come along quite nicely design-wise since a rather drab initial version. This was purchased in Australia and built locally, I believe. You can see the steering wheel is on the correct side. Solid as a rock, though, and no problems at all for at least 10 years.

Yeah, the focus has much improved, they made it bigger (same with the Fiesta) and have now done away with the larger Mondeo as sales went off a cliff and everyone who did want a bigger vehicle started buying those God awful 4x4's (one of my bug bears in life). Also parts are cheap and it has a heated windscreen which is a wonderful invention.

Here's a picture of a car: That's a Dymaxion car, invented by the futurist architect Buckminster Fuller in the 1930s, who also invented the geodesic dome.
