250 GTO? If I had the money I think I'd go for an old school look like this. Or better yet a custom job- have the best rotary engine combined with an Italian designed frame job 50 million dollars worth of car, there.

It's a piece of engineering, which is not the stylish I am meaning. Do you think women find guys in Porsches attractive? No, it's a boys' car and women don't want to be seen in it. The Aston or Ferrari on the other hand.... those cars are going to get you laid. The 911 is a drivers car, the others are rich men's toys. Fine by me - I'm a lover not a driver.

It's not just proving you have money. Check out the Aston and Ferrari versus the Porsche and Lamborghini - all expensive. The two former will get you girls with some class. The two latter, like you say, will get you skanks. No girls with a bit of style and panache want to be seen in an uncomfortable machine. Those without style will take anything that says money. I dont think so. Those 4 are all top tier cars. They are all chick magnets. Classy or skanky The 911 is not a chick magnet (it's too ugly for that). The other three, sure.

Exactly the opposite. I am saying exactly the opposite of that - that I have minimal interest in pure muscle cars. If you think a 911 GT2 is a "muscle car" you need to understand it more. A "muscle car" is an American phenomena which relates to power over finesse which is the last thing the GT2 is, it's a pure driving machine engineered and balanced to take everything to the max whilst creating a perfect balance between power and handling. Obviously if it's all about posing and showing wealth then there are other options, but for pure appreciation of what a car is all about then the Porsche wins on all accounts. I was talking to an Australian - he uses American terms, ergo. If you think the others are simply for posing and showing wealth, you have no idea of style and sex appeal in a car. The Porsche has zero of that. The Aston and Ferrari have oodles. (The Pagani not so much.)

Derp, its the most basic instinct of all. Driving around for the sake of it talking about engineering like a twat is what's posing.

I would like to find a Honda Element for sale. They are very popular now and hard to find: I'd fix it up like this for camping:

Is that tent home-made or shop bought? And what's the floor of the tent made of?

And you don't know what kind of future I want so maybe that applies to you but not me.

Is that tent home-made or shop bought? And what's the floor of the tent made of? They're usually made of nylon but not sure about that one. The bulk of the weight is on the car's roof, so should be sturdy enough. I also like the ones that are customized inside.

Even the old models are still pretty expensive.

I'm curious to know what it is to know how it gets transported.
