Sounds good.
What will be your line of business?
IT. Can't think of anyone more qualified for Idiot Training than you.

Can't think of anyone more qualified for Idiot Training than you. I can't think of anyone less likely to know what IT stands for than you.

Now I've reached the age I have, I'd much rather live in the moment than for the future, most of the narrow life goals such as, children, owning a house, a bit of financial security have been met, and as my wife and I both have medical conditions that we will either die of or die with (hopefully the latter a long time away) it's better to appreciate what you have than what you may get. My cat living to a very old age would be wonderful and there's a few rare and expensive records and books I'd like to fluke upon in charity shops, but, hey, I'm pretty much okay with what I have and you can't ask for much more than that.
World peace and a Socialist government are out of the question I suppose?

I didn't understand a word of that. Yes, I have ambitions. I want to have as much money or more than my father, who isn't fabulously wealthy but much better off than most people, and so far that's not looking too good, and four children, and that's looking like it will happen. Ahem...I speak Gibberish. He said he is fixing up a country house and wants to finish before he takes off his boots. He has a crap degree from a Polytechnic school, but would like to earn a masters of science degree before he dies. "Pop my clogs" also means to die. Other than that you did pretty well.

I think it only means to die. 'Take boots off' sounds like retire.

IT. How will that work?
I know nothing about IT or computers. I have just spent a month finding Equation Editor ( or whatever it is called) on Ubuntu and still screw up. Will you write programs and such or what?

No, I'm not a programmer, although I have a solid understanding of how things work (table structures, record filtering, read and write updates, scalability, security, cloud infrastructure etc). I'm spec'ing the product and do the graphic designs of the screens and a company programs it from my specifications. We're about 3/4 of the way through the programming.
