Who says they were lying? All of these people were asked if they planned on overturning Roe v. Wade, and they all said no... under oath as well. Maybe it was true at the time that they had no plans but changed their mind later and started plans then. That wouldn't be lying. |

There's no lie there. He doesn't live in a bubble.... he realizes the gravity of it. He understands.... he understands the importance that people attach to it. He lives in the real world... he knows that precedent affects many. Nowhere is he stating he would uphold bad precedent or that it couldn't be changed. If that was the case, then Brown Vs The Board of Education would have turned out differently. He went to rich boy prep school. Of course he lives in a bubble. He does know when not whine on national TV about his beer addiction. And lives in the 18th century along with the rest of the Bishops. Well, if you believe you can get 67 Senators to remove a sitting Supreme court justice because you believe he lied when he said he didn't live in a bubble (I guess about his lifestyle and not abortion as was the context of the question you supplied)... then reach out to AOC for the House and hen your local Senator. You can certainly have a desire to do something without having plans to do it. Having plans to do something is extremely specific. They were playing the Semantics Olympics together.
