force. Okay, not really some omnipotent force, but a song played in a place like a shop, a restaurant, a form of transpo (taxi, Uber, Lyft, friend's car), anywhere where you were not selecting the tune. Even if it was your car but you lazily put on the radio and music just happened, that counts.

These used to play on the loudspeaker when I worked at a movie theater at 15. They are ingrained in my memory.

I'm afraid I'm not much help here, Roxy. I will occasionally hear a good tune in, say, a Home Depot or other big box store, and I'll be all like, "Yeah, that song was great! I gotta' remember to look for that when I get home, probably find it on YouTube." Well, then the next song comes on, and my memory of the earlier song is completely obliterated. When I walk out of the store, I can't remember a damn thing I was listening to. So yeah, that's the way it is. What were we talking about?
