There is a lot of esoteric philosophy to be had if one reads the Bible the same way they read Plato. The Apostle Paul thought Jesus was speaking to him in the middle of the night...so he was not rational about his religious view, but he is also a great writer.

Ecclesiastes 1

Everything Is Meaningless

1 The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem:

Wisdom Is Meaningless
