It sucks because I need a car. My car has done 120,000 kms and in my experience, that’s when they start having problems. I’d love to get a new car but apparently they aren’t available. You have to wait six months minimum.
I may end up getting a second-hand car but it sucks. I didn’t want to do that. After buying a new car I never want to go back to second-hand.

Yeah apparently anything that needs chips there will be a shortage of? Im sure there are still shortages with PS5s
Well, it depends on how long you are willing to wait. Try and maintain it in the best way you can.
However, surely there would be pretty new second-hand cars around too right? Just gotta look around

I know about the wait times but maybe they are for popular vehicles. Maybe you can still get little Hyundais, which is all I want anyway.

I cant remember what it's called, something like a rego check for $20, you can see if the car was in any accidents or whatever. There would probably be something similar with your state govt dept Other ways you can reduce risk is to buy the car from a relatively good area/suburb and a decent enough person. This probably goes without saying but test drive it too

You're old enough to drive?

got my last one brand new as I got a 5k trade in on one ready for scrapping so it paid for itself, but wouldn't get brand new if I was buying without that incentive. Just too much de valuation the minute you drive out of the garage. A low mileage 3 year old is probably the best value for money because once the no MOT period ends there are massive savings and bargains to be had.

Manufactured shortages because "they" don't want you driving, and "they" want you to live off bugs and have a lower living standard to free up all resources for "them".

It's the elites! They're replacing you with a sponge!
(Will they notice...?)

Hmm never thought about it being a manufactured shortage. Interesting There are people who will come right out and say they don't want you driving cars. When I start taking them at their word suddenly I'm a nutcase? Or do I make sense?

Then you should have plenty of time to save up for it.

When I start taking them at their word suddenly I'm a nutcase? Or do I make sense? Then where are these motherfuckers? Who are they? When did this happen? How did it happen? And exactly what it is? You made this up off the top your head right before you posted and already have one true believer in your manufactured conspiracy theory. Amazing to see a brand new lie being born.
