So now we are there once again. Thoughts on it and the season overall?

The finale was a bit underwhelming but all in all it's a good show. I think its main issues come from too many time jumps. We lose a lot of character development.
Because of all the gender bullshit I was sure I'd hate D'Arsy but she\he\they\ze\it was pretty amazing. I also loved Rhys Ifans as Hightower and Paddy Considine was simply sensational. I mean he's been a familiar face for at least a decade - one of those excellent British actors whose name I can never remember. But this was a treat. If he doesn't get a bunch of awards this year, there is no justice.

I liked the finale and the season as a whole. It did enough to wash the bad taste of season 8 of Game of Thrones.
I'm not sure I liked Aemond killing Lucerys accidentally but I guess they are trying to avoid painting one side as complete evil.
That being said, the finale did it's job. I want the second season ASAP.

Yeah the finale was underwhelming. Im also getting sick of seeing childbirth lol. It's hardly shocking. Must be the third time now at least
I just wish there were more Valyrian houses involved in the civil war. Wouldve been more interesting to have it back there on their soil before the Doom
However, a strong season. Im glad I tuned in

It could have done with more characters outside the family drama but it got lively towards the end. I also missed the dark humour from Game of Thrones.
