Lots of great ones, but choose only one.

At the moment it’s Eleanor Rigby but it’ll probably be a different one next time I’m asked.

If I have to pick a serious song, then I choose Revolution or Here Comes the Sun

Probably Hey Jude. Excellent drumming.
Also got a soft spot for A Day in the Life. I've only got the blue compilation album and it's start-to-finish excellent. Not a fan of the earlier stuff.

Kinell, I forgot my favourite Beatles song.
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.

"Here Comes the Sun." Certainly one of the most timeless.

Kinell, I forgot my favourite Beatles song. I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello. I'd have gone a different direction had the question asked for favourite. To me favourite and best may or may not be the same.

To me favourite and best may or may not be the same. Absolutely. While most Beatles fans would consider Sgt. Pepper their best album, my favorite is probably--mind you, I say probably-- Revolver. Especially the British edition, which contains more tracks. So, "best" song? Well, I'm kind of torn between "Eleanor Rigby" and "Across the Universe." EDIT: After some consideration, I would add as a likely contender for "Best": "Blackbird." It's one "message" song that, IMO, has stood the test of time.
