The story so far. Several years ago Australias opening batsman and mentor, and Test captain Steve Smith told a bowler he would need to surrepticiously use a bit of sandpaper to mess up with the cricket ball seam to help it turn in the air. What could go wrong? They were all declared cheats and booted out of test cricket for 2 years. Warner was given a lifetime ban on being Test captain, which is third in line of Australian royalty after the Governor General and Prime Minister.
Now Warner is belly aching about his lifetime ban and has said cricket officials OKed the cheating.
No big deal? They all do it? Whats the problem?

Hang on, who's Warner in all of this - the bowler? No, David Warner is Australias opening batsman and with Captain Steven Smith were the two senior players, who apparently told the bowler it was OK to cheat, everybody does it. Except everybody doesnt cheat because if they are found out they always get booted out.

I thought that Warner told the fieldsman, Bancroft, to do it and that Smith was the captain and simply aware that it was taking place.
Anyway, what is forgotten is that the saffers were ridiculing Warner because his wife, the mother of his children, once had an tryst with a rugby player before she met Warner.
So really, I don’t even blame Warner.
