Good Movie Night. Not like goin' down to the pond and chasin' bluegills or tommycods. This Movie Night XIII, swallow you whole. A little shakin', a little tenderizin', down you go. And we gotta do it on Saturday March 4th, 7pm ET 4pm PT. That'll bring back the tourists and put all your businesses on a payin' basis. And it's gonna be pleasant. We value our necks here and we'll play the movies for you, but you gotta make up your minds. If you wanna watch the movies, then show up. For that you get the feature movie Jaws (1975), the followup movies, the whole damn thing.  |

Or we could watch The Deep, where they apparently didn't have enough of a budget to buy appropriate diving apparel and forced poor Jacqueline Bisset to scuba dive in in a skimpy white t-shirt. Poor thing... Yes. It's good. I went to see that with my friend Adam when I was about 11, as the follow-up to Jaws. I had seen it before and recommended it. He thought it was okay, nothing special. Mind you, at The Royalty, on Gosforth High Street, we went to see Rollerball a couple of years earlier or so. My Mum came and got us in. We were only 9 or something. I still watch that film. Fast forwarding, of course. |
