I think you are on the receiving end of the new Republican mentality. You are no longer allowed to be an old fashioned conservative with a little "c". You have to be a full on MAGA nutjob or else you will be viewed as a "RINO" or a socialist pretending to be a Republican. This is the new post Trump GOP reality and the biggest thing that will stand between them and the Presidency. It's also very politically naive as the nutjobs will vote for whatever you stick in front of them whereas millions of old style Republicans are put off by the new extreme MAGA types and won't return to the party until they have gone. I'm supposedly an "extreme MAGA type" but a lot of conservatives call me a socialist and pacifist who hates America. Maybe you're just mentally trapped by labels. Take this post, you didn't discuss an actual issue, just ranted pure labels to Gameboy.
