At the risk of pointing out the obvious, that first oneβs been photoshopped: the kerningβs off.

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, that first oneβs been photoshopped: the kerningβs off. There's something odd about it - I'm pretty sure the first line says "this side up" so how do you get an 'li' from an 'i'?

There's something odd about it - I'm pretty sure the first line says "this side up" so how do you get an 'li' from an 'i'? Looks like the last three letters ( IDE) have been yellowed out and theyβve just tried to redo it with the extra letter included.. but the recreated lettering doesn't match the rest of the font, which is why it looks off.

Yes. Kerning is distance between the letters, right? (I used to do a lot of desktop publishing using PageMaker back whenever.)

Who said postal services don't have a sense of humor? OK it could just as easily be the sender of the package.

What word goes before βslide up.β It goes with "with care"...The message is "GLASS: slide up with care" only they put GLASS bigger and in the center so that it would be more attention-getting. EDIT: Oh, I see what you mean. There's a space before the word 'slide'. It could be PLEASE slide up AND with care.
