Toasty, please use assuage in a sentence. It sounds obscene.

It makes it sounds like those glorious male appendages are flopping around commando style.
I can help assuage your tension....

Nothing comes to mind, but I find many people have trouble pronouncing ‘mischievous’.
MISS-CHUH-VUS, not MISS-CHEE-VEE-US.

Not me but I have noticed that a lot of people have trouble pronouncing "The Tories are doing a great job." They keep saying "Tory scum out!" Must be a lisp or something.

Not me but I have noticed that a lot of people have trouble pronouncing "The Tories are doing a great job." They keep saying "Tory scum out!" Must be a lisp or something. The whole country seems to be suffering from that one given the polling. Last polls (admittedly before the budget) had Labour with a 28% lead and the Tories as only the 4th biggest party in Westminster if followed through on. YouGov also found that Labour leader Keir Starmer leads Rishi Sunak by 13 points on who the public think would make the best prime minister.
