Ohtani's gotten violations as both a pitcher and batter. There's going to be a lot of adjustments for both batters and pitchers. Some announcing team brought up an interesting idea. Will the pitch clock give an advantage to rookie pitchers? They dealt with it last year. It won't turn Sid Squid into Sandy Koufax but it's an advantage That was expected, but I'd think it would only be for a month or two. |

Braves/Padres game tonight is on fucking AppleTV, meaning I don’t get it. Fuck that shit, I pay for the MLB package, that means I should get EVERY out of market game, fuck this AppleTV shit and this Peacock shit.
Rays are still unbeaten and they are up 6-1 on the A’s at the Trop now, Paredes just hit a grand slam. Rays are the only unbeaten team in MLB, there are no winless teams.

The AL Central is going to be tight IMO - Guardians, Twins and White Sox will be in a close race for the division crown. No team is great in that division, and the Tigers and Royals are pretty weak, so I think it will be a 3 way race for the title, I’m really not sure who will win it. |

Marlins avoid a sweep against the Mets in Queens, winning today 7-2.
Jays and Angels played a wild one, Jays won 12-11 in extra innings, and took 2 of 3 from the Angels in Anaheim.
Padres are up 6-0 on the Bravos, looking to take 3 of 4 from the Braves in ATL.
Rays sweep the A’s at the Trop and remain unbeaten.
