The Dio documentary on Showtime (I think) is very good. If you haven't seen it give it a look. Also, the remastered live show in the second vid is damn impressive. Whole band giving it their absolute all from start to finish. |

Whole band giving it their absolute all from start to finish. I got his autograph at Tower Records before the show. I saw him at the Sports Arena the tour where he had the dragon prop. Had to walk through a pocket line of Christians trying to save my soul. Still have the propaganda flyer they passed out last I saw. |

Haha… yeah, I saw him a few times back in the hey day in L.A, then later (early 2000’s) in Denmark (did not get to see him with Sabbath or Rainbow unfortunately). Still have all my ticket Stubbs etc. and yeah, street preachers with crosses and megaphones at damn near every concert I attended back in the 80’s and 90’s… and they were many. |
