Nope, that wasn't what was being said. If you want to claim it is then please provide proof. Go watch anything by Nerdrotic on Ms Marvel. Again, please post the exact vid where what you claimed is mentioned. You made the claim, you get to post the proof. You don't get someone else to do your research for you.

Good lord. Someone you know said that?! You need to find a new social circle, Sam. Thats messed up. Sadly, Social Media means I have to run into slop like that. Go off the grid. Twitter and Bookface are passé anyway.

Ok so I watched the vid (which is 20+ minutes of my life I won't get back) and I couldn't find anywhere in there where the guy said "This is what happens when women lead movies" or "Keep that ugly brown girl out of anything". In fact, the guy even mentions that Iman Vellani is charming. So either post the timestamp where these statements were actually mentioned or admit that you're making stuff up.

So according to Zawe Ashton, who plays the villain Darr-Ben the movie had an alternate ending where she and Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) kill each other.

So I finally watched this movie tonight and... well, it was a weird show.
I actually enjoyed a number of the scenes, including the musical planet. Even had a fairly strong final fight scene. Problem is the scenes were stitched together so haphazardly that the movie as a whole felt herky-jerky and non-cohesive. Made it hard to really get into the movie when the transitions between scenes were pretty jarring. It made me feel like I watching an episode of Power Rangers complete with commercial breaks.
It also didn't help that this movie had arguably the worst villain in any MCU movie. Seriously, Dar-benn gave me a new appreciation for Malekith and Kaecilius.
One big surprise for me though was that I actually liked Carol Danvers in this movie. She was not obnoxious at all (unlike her previous movie) and they made her a lot more sympathetic with a lot more gravitas. I loved the change, but it also irritated me that she wasn't given a better movie to go with her better characterization.
In the end, this is probably near the bottom of the pile compared to other MCU movies. It's not offensive like Thor L&T but it just doesn't feel like an MCU movie at all. It feels like an expensive direct-to-tv movie. Like something Netflix would produce.

Namor is one of the worst Marvel movie villains with MODOK too, just wasn't a fan of his invasion of a fellow isolated nation over his underwater world's polluters instead. Malekith and Kaecilius weren't as bad as those two.

His version of Namor was miscast so wasn't a fan of the actor from the start but his invasion of Wakanda was the final nail in the coffin. Yes, Namor invaded Wakanda in the comics too but that doesn't translate well to the big screen.

The MCU Namor wasn't cooler and looked like the owner of a 7/11 shop than a warrior ruler of an underwater civilization.

I wish he'd worn that fish-style armor the whole time though.
