The big box hardware store here has the aisle and bay numbers available on their website. Simple to use on smartphones, comes in very handy. I only meant to buy just one thing that didn't cost more than $10. I get lost and end up with 40 items and end up spending more than $100. How did that happen?

If you’re talking groceries I prefer to shop online, don’t end up with a bunch of stuff I don’t need. I do the same with the big box hardware store sometimes but often I like to compare the quality of tools etc in store. I’ve been doing renovations at my mums for the last 10 months, couldn’t even guess how many times I’ve visited the hardware store over that time.

When you've been going to the same big box home improvement store for over a decade, and every time you go you pass the ax and hatchet section, and every single time you think you should probably pick one up just to have lying around but you never actually do, then the day comes when you actually need an ax to take out that last little nub of tree stump in your yard, and you go to the store and they've friggen moved them and you need to hunt someone down to tell you where they are.
1. Did you axe them where they were?
2. Does this have anything to do with the gun debate?

1. thank you :P
2. I honestly was fixated on the axe use for that one. Especially as it was the 2nd or third story in a week or so. It was more a playful poke at merh than anything. In fact, the Thread title and first line were actually taken from the comment section below that article/link. I certainly make no secret of my feelings on guns and the 2nd Amendment.

So someone getting killed by anything other than a gun nullifies all gun deaths?

Not at all.
It just proves yet again people can be evil........and they come up with many ways to be that towards others.

a guy came in yesterday, smarmy as can be - asking for a $700 processor and a $900 graphics card.
i am like, where do you think you are? microcenter?
we're in BFE Virginia - no small business out in the boonies is going to carry top of the line parts that aren't going to be quickly moved off the shelf.
not even the bestbuys in richmond will carry such expensive parts, what makes him think i would?

My preferred steak is now $100 a piece. Doesn’t look like I’ll be having them anytime soon. At a restaurant or at the market?
