The one thing I like about Orville is the way it takes a comical look at the things Star Trek ignored.
People using the holodeck to fuck themselves silly for example.

Watched the first episode of Discovery season two.
It really is quite shit.
The premise of setting the show in an alternative reality was a good one but they really need to get on with it. When your twist turns out to be a necessity rather than a shock, you just need to confirm it rather than draw it out.
Its greatest crime is being boring.

That might be the first episode where they actually visit a fucking planet. More of that please.

Orville is getting too serious.
Discovery is getting slightly good (too little too late).

Orville had a really great episode where crew members suffered their worst horrors, and generally Season I was good. But I gave up on Season II.

Orville is okay but it just feels like it wants its cake and eat it.
Discovery is slightly better now but I really don't need to see another version of fucking Spock. And the plan to lure future Burnham was so dumb. You're tricking your future self into returning to the past to save you even though future you knows it's a trick (because it's future you!!). I wish they'd just visit some alien planets for Christs sake.
And the less said about the ash/burnham relationship, the better.

Orville is okay but it just feels like it wants its cake and eat it Appalling English ("it wants eat it"?) and appalling lack of understanding of the proverb.

The English is correct for the traditional use of this proverb. And in what way does it demonstrate lack of understanding of the proverb regarding the show? Christ, you're thick as shit.

The English is incorrect regardless of the proverb. 2. You are using the incorrect version of the proverb. Don't worry, most people do, but most people are as thick as shit when it comes to this proverb. You, however, are thicker than shit.

Given that you don't even know what I'm specifically referring to in the show, how would you know if I'm using the proverb correctly or not. Please elaborate. LOL, you're so thick. You try too hard.

You try too hard. Ha ha, hilarious. It's fun watching you not being able to figure things out. It amuses me, like my quiz on the puzzles board. Keep going, it's funny. You are using an incorrect version of the proverb - most thick people do, so don't worry.

Please clarify how I used the proverb incorrectly. It would be most amusing.

Orville just rips off Star Trek without even trying to hide it.
