Nobody knows.
Pointless wondering.

You really think there's an "afterlife" and a "heaven"?

Humans are animals. Either all animals have souls or no animals have souls.
Christians hurt their argument for the afterlife when they claim that only the human animal has a soul, but no other animal does. That is more far-fetched that claiming all animals have souls.
If humans go to heaven, so do cats, by default.

I wish it were true....then a Lynx would have a soul. But then again, I can't imagine a viscous Cobra with a soul...or a Scorpion. But remember......."and God gave Man dominion over the animals".....which means he differentiated between Humans and Animals. ......otherwise, wouldn't we feel guilty every time we swat a mosquito ? @hux, Flying Monkeys, Lilith, Roxy,@moonchild, coffee,

Some people can kill a person and not feel guilty. Seeing certain species as less valuable doesn't mean they don't have a soul. 'Dominian over' doesn't mean that.

I wasn't aware that Christians believe animals don't have a soul. That's news to me. Sorry, but that video is 15min long and I don't want to watch it. Suffice it to say that anyone who says animals don't have a soul, don't feel emotions, aren't part of God, etc., is full of shit and a fraud.

"Viscous" Cobras? Subjective. They may think you're vicious. He couldn't have differentiated between humans and animals because humans are, literally, animals. That was written at a time when people didn't know that. No one animal has "dominion" over another animal. All animals, including humans, are equally valuable, and each have the same worth. Your life and my life is no more important than a cockroach. I feel guilty when I squat mosquitos. They may feel guilty when they have to suck my blood for survival. Maybe you're heart is empty and that's why you just assumed all humans feel no emotion when they kill an insect. I don't kill them if I don't have to, if I see one, I let them outside. One time I killed a few large ants in my parents kitchen 10 or more years ago and I still feel guilty about it as I didn't have to do that. It haunted me since. So yeah normal people do feel guilty when they kill bugs.

So yeah normal people do feel guilty when they kill bugs. I feel guilty too. I killed a black widow outside my front door the other day. I had been walking into its web and it kept re-weaving it overnight. I saw it walking across the front door like it was coming home from visiting somewhere and I swatted it with a broom. I felt bad. But at the same time, I also believe that nothing 'dies' per se. Everything just goes to another dimension and continues to exist.
