6-1 is a dangerous lead. You’re tempted to let your Hi guard down and next thing you know it’s 6-5. At 6-0 England would only need a draw with Belgium to top the group. That goal means we now need to win. England always finds a way to fuck it up.

Dead level isn't it, would come down to fair play which we lead on less bookings going into the Belgium game as Danny Mills said on commentary.

I feel weird.
What is that strange new feeling I have?
Is it... is it... is it pride in the England team...?

Currently, but it wouldn't surprise me if we pick up bookings against Belgium. Simply not letting that Panama goal in would have avoided such silly buggers outcomes. And I really think winning the group matters. Not necessarily for the last 16 but for the quarters. Germany look like they're gonna come second in their group so we would avoid them and Brazil by coming top.

Lingard improved on the first game but Sterling is still shit. He should have finished off that classy set-piece move where Stones got his second.
We'll probably come second.

How does it feel to be corrected by a non-football follower? Must be very embarrassing for you.

The point is England could (and probably will) pick up more bookings in the Belgium game. Not letting that twatting Panama goal in would have avoided any confusion.

Not sure what went on in the halftime talk but the manager seemed to encourage a complete lack of effort in the second half. When given a chance of a pass through the middle to the front line we passed back every time. And that soft goal was unforgivable defending. Germany also still have a decent chance of winning their group but yes we should definitely strive to win the group if possible.

You were wrong. A draw can do it.
