What do you feel is the greatest song gift you could potentially share with your online brothers and sisters?
I think the greatest I could share with you all here (and elsewhere) might just be this song about smiles by Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel as it often provokes an unsuspected smile or two when you put it on a pub jukebox (the kind of euphoric smiles that transcend time and generations which I've heard is down to how cleverly it's been arranged) ...

I was in a punk band too. As one of the principal songwriters (a role that carries responsibility), my primary influence was the Damned. I initially modelled my gothic outlaw look on Dave Vanian but with a clown theme, he was my idol.
I read that Dave Gahan had once done the same in Depeche Mode (while Robert Smith and Siouxsie Sioux had also traded fashion tips) as he idolised Vanian. Those were the days, back when life was simpler.

Well, as far as listening to a song that is fun to listen to then I got one.
That would be hot as sun/ glasses. From mccartney.
And the correct way to listen to this song is listen to the whole album that it's on. And this is the second song on this album.
Therefore I reccomend listening to the whole album twice in order to appreciate this song.
