I agree. But I think it has always happened. But, before, teenagers grew up faster and boys generally didn't complain about sex with an adult woman. And society didn't see it as bad. And now, because of women's liberation, men are demanding equal treatment of women. So, law enforcement feels obligated to prosecute women offenders. And now, children are maturing more slowly. And, because of social media, it is easier to gather evidence of illicit behavior. And, apparently, society is more sexualized than it used to be. So, that is adding fuel to the fire. Funny thing it seems to me it's much more likely it's men who act like it's no big deal and the law should go easy on the women. I mean how many times do we hear about an attractive teacher taking up with a teen and guys are like ready to high five the kid and talking about how they wish they had a teacher like that when they were in middle or high school. I agree, but if you saw her- you might understand www.sptimes.com/2005/11/22/Tampabay/No_jail_time_for_Lafa.shtmlShe got away with it. If she was a guy she would have gotten years in jail- whether admitting it or not. its a double standard of course- I dont understand liberals. Six Feet Under- a very popular and liberally biased TV series had a character( Nate Fisher) lose his virginity to one of his mothers best friends when he was a teenager. The moms friend never got arrested. The made a small deal about it but later on everyone was okay with it( including the mothers ) becuase the moms sister was like "this kid had no idea how lucky he was"" Yet those are the SAME liberals who watch and enjoyed that show are the same ones who are insane about disciplining your kid- even calling it child abuse in the home Liberals- The worlds biggest hypocrites

Plus young girls see themselves as victims (and blab) whereas boys see themselves as fortunate (and don't blab).

A 30 year old teacher was arrested for sending naked pictures of herself to a 13 year old student. I noticed this seems to be a nationwide epidemic. Used to be, men were accused of being sexual perverts and predators. Now, nationwide, females are being arrested for having inappropriate relations with underage teenagers. What is happening? Is this a recent phenomenon? Or has this always happened, and now they are just getting caught? What do you think? wgno.com/2017/11/30/gretna-teacher-booked-for-sending-nude-photos-to-student-via-snapchat/Well, the whole posting naked pictures became a "thing" way back at the introduction of web cams and then it really took off when Steve Jobs had the brilliant idea of putting the first camera on a phone connected to something like the internet, much to the delight of perverts and stalkers everywhere. As for women also being sexual perverts and predators, that has been going on since before recorded history. Think of gender as an overlay on top of the generalized human template, in that any human is capable of any variety of the best or worst behavior regardless of gender. In other words, men and women are more alike when it comes to behavior, likes and dislikes than anyone cares to admit, that which is the same behavior in both genders is quantified as the basics of what makes humans human, both the good and bad aspects of it.

Comparing it to "Six Feet Under" is not a valid observation because that is the sick twisted fiction by whoever wrote that series. Therefore it is not a credible and accurate comparison to real life events. Wow, you are one sick little monkey... Speaking of monkeys, that falls right in line with typical human behavior because just like monkeys, humans are overly obsessed with who is having sex with who. Like it's some sort of side show to watch out of prurient interest. So humans get so wrapped up in their own entertainment that they forget that what they are looking at is real, hence they ignore the victim and cheer on the perpetrator because deep down on some level they all want some of that too just like the predators humans really are at the instinctual level. With a few exceptions being those who value society and it's rules above any sick twisted instincts they may have for personal gain or personal gratification. Yes, those are some harsh things to say, but it needed to be said so that people can straighten up and start acting with some modicum of decency.
