...and may there be many more. Now for a sampling of songs:
First, the original "video" of the studio recording (still my favorite rendition) of "Maybe I'm Amazed."
From the Wings Over America tour [full disclosure: I saw Wings on the closing night of that tour, late June of 1976. It. Was. INCREDIBLE!!!]
Some thoughts about his first (and greatest) songwriting mate...
Some more thoughts--this time about...well, the title says it all.
One more. This time it's one of my favorites from Memory Almost Full (I know it's not a "real" video, but I like it better than the "official one"--leaves more to the imagination).
*For arithmetical trivia buffs, 81 = 9 squared. What does that have to do with Paul McCartney, you ask? I don't know...but it's an interesting little factoid, don't you think?

Made great music in the 60s and 70s, not so much after that.

Quick question: did you listen to the third, fourth and fifth of the videos I posted?

Happy birthday, Mr. McCartney!
Carol Kane turned 71 on the 18th June and I hope she's been enjoying her birthday too.

I watched Paul McCartney on a televised episode of Ronnie Wood's radio show in which they discussed some of their favourite records of the 1950s / 1960s. Wood nominated his artist of the hour as Eddie Cochran. McCartney told Wood he could happily sit with him and talk music all day.
