The Snyderverse is wrapping up, but fuck it. Embrace it. The Flash was all about other timelines and universes. Fully embrace it They sorta already are with The Batman universe. Throw a Snyderverse movie in there once in a while. Gunn's new DCU is the new main one, but make a Snyderverse movie every so often like they do with The Batman.

For the love of god just end the damn Snyderverse once and for all! Its killing the DC brand. I’m all for “else-worlds” movies like Joker and maybe a Keaton solo flick though.

Snyderverse is just a term. I have no attachment or fondness to him in particular. Most of the movies aren't even his. It would literally be an else-world's project.
People love Cavill and Gadot's version of the characters and were livid when they were let go. It just became cool to shit on DC at a certain point. Some of the public has already turned on Gunn and he hasn't put out a single movie from the "DCU" yet.

I think it's a shame to scrap the current DCEU. With a couple of exceptions, most of the movies were good and a few were excellent. Man of Steel is one of my favourite movies.

I didn't hate the DCEU as much as others did. And I am disappointed that certain cast members aren't returning. But those movies just weren't making the money and getting the reviews that WB wanted them too.

I don't know if I'd say most were good, but there was enough good there to warrant keeping some of it around. Cavill, Gadot, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, Robbie, Cena - hell Birds of Prey has pretty good reviews from both fans and critics. Not that it was all great, but it just became fashionable to shit on DC at a certain point.
I guarantee you The Flash would have done better financially if they didn't announce the DCEU was done. Blue Beetle and Aquaman 2 are going to as well.

Dude, Man of Steel was polarizing at best. And Cavil’s next two appearances are in movies most people hated. The only successful DCECEU movies are WW, Shazam and Aquaman and the sequels to those first two bombed HARD. Why continue a train wreck? This thing should have ended years ago and you want it to go on.

Man of Steel:
7.1 IMDB 56% and 75% at RT 55/100 and 7.6
78% on Google reviews
The good outweighs the bad by a 2/1.

The Suicide Squad has very good reviews, got a spinoff that also has good reviews, and still didn't make money. There's supposedly going to be another season of Peacemaker even though it's DCEU. The new DCU is already confusing.

Ok, I’ll be generous and give you Man of Steel. That’s still only four movies that succeeded in critical scores and box office success, and again the sequels to ALL of them failed in both ways.

I really doubt that though. It’s remembered as one of the worst superhero sequels of all time. People would probably have seen it though based off the popularity of the first film and the solid trailer. Plus, it's reviews weren't even that bad - 58% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I reckon you’re correct about that but it wouldn’t have been received any better. It’s a notoriously bad movie.
