Did anyone here listen to King Crimson in this order before?

Basically, I never heard them before until now.

First I got Islands.

This album I listened to 5 times. First 2 times I heard it I liked nothing on it. Then I heard it 3 times,  by this time I still liked nothing except for ladies of the road.

Which is a cool sounding song.

Then I eventually heard it 5 times. Now I think it's great, all of it.

Then I got Starless and Bible. Black.

This album I played 5 times. First time I heard it I liked nothing on it except for the first song.

I liked it a little more after playing it each time.

Then I got their first album.

This album I played 3 times so far. First time I heard it I thought it's the most overrated album ever. I thought all the music sucked except for the first song on it.

Second listen, after listening to it again. I thought it sucked just as much.

But then, right before listening to it the third time I listened to one moody blues album. From 1972.

And then, I liked it a lot.
