About this environmental initiative? With plastic i knew the bag wouldnt rip and it used to be free
And yes i want my plastic straws back. Paper or metal doesnt cut it
So what if i have to see a baby seal choke on some plastic or thats it made from fossil fuels

I have been using my plastic straw for a couple months. Rinse after use... They sell straw cleaners I wash and reuse plastic bags for produce. Like the cereal and bread bags and other ones. As well as the ziplocs. The companies that makes those would hate me! LOL I do my best to throw away as little plastic as possible and always take in a bag to reuse at the stores even when it is not grocery. It's the right thing to do. |

I understand there are practical uses for it. The problem is the plastic lobby pushed it and we use it for things that we don't really need to use it for. And that usage is not only sucking up resources, but it's disastrous to the environment in spots. And the kicker is that we can't even really recycle it, despite the claims. It's a bum deal. |

I try to avoid plastic as good as possible, although it get's recycled or re-used for energy at 75% in Europe. Shopping bags from plastic, really? Who the fuck doesn't use those reusable Ikea bags where you could carry a 40ton tank with if you had the strength?  |
