Can't say that Man U looked all that last night. Same problem as last season; they don't score enough when they're on top. We'll see.

Tottenham start with a win. Amazed they didn't buy a single player in the transfer window.

I was dubious about Wolves v Everton. I thought the newly promoted team out to make an impression with decent players brought in might make it tough. We got a point with ten men for half the game so not too bad. I think without the red card we would have walked it. Frustrating but a new Goodison legend already in Richarlison. Get ready for the chants of; "It's just like watching Brazil".

Can't say that Man U looked all that last night. For sure. Yet still without playing particularly well Man U bagged 3 points from a tricky opening day fixture.

Well all the games went as expected really, it will be when top sides play each other as in the Arsenal game today that we get a real idea of where we are heading. 2 good games today.

I don't view Liverpool as a one man team but if they were to lose Saha to injury or he lost form I'd drop them down to 4th or 5th. One-season-wonder. He'll get no more than 15 this year. You sure?

Chelsea already 2-0 up against Arsenal. Bring back Wenger. Could end up in the relegation zone come the final whistle. Hard first couple of fixtures but Arsenal have to get results against teams they rival for at least a top 4 finish. As an Everton fan with any hope of cracking the top 6 I think we have to rely on the likes of Arsenal slipping up so we can maybe squeeze ourselves in.

3-2
I can't see anything but a really poor season for Arsenal -- twenty years of the same manager is hard to move on from (ask United fans).

I'm starting to think Aubameyang is very overrated. Scoring in the German league clearly isn't what it used to be.

Okay, choosing United might have been a mistake. They look so average, so bereft of ideas.
Mourinho can't have long left.
