Some idiots don't know what a vatnik really is.

For those of us against the Russian invasion of Ukraine and want to see the war end we are mislabeled as being "pro Russia" or "A friend of Putin," and other such silly nonsense by pro war crackpots and morons who make up that bullshit just because we are not on their side or disagree that there should be a war at all.

One of their "insults" for us that pops up sometimes is vatnik.
Which the original meaning is a warm, quilted Russian winter coat.
That is what they are calling us.
Something that helps to keep warm while protecting the wearer from freezing to death so in a way it is a compliment since the vatnik is doing something good.
It also means someone who believes in Russian propaganda but since it is a word that still has an original term, I take it they are calling us anti war folk winter coats.

This is not at all like the word "Gay" where the original meaning, of being happy, no longer applies.
If you go to Russia, or perhaps any store that has Russian clothing, and ask for a vatnik then you will get a winter coat.

One should not expect those who think that being anti war equals being pro Russia to make any sense with their lame attempts at an insult.
If they want to double down on their idiocy, nothing can be done to change that.

It’s absurd how people get called “Russian shills” for saying this war in Ukraine is a scam that was provoked by America to enrich the MIC, because it’s the truth.

Vatnik score: 10/10.  Gets a 10 for bitching about being called a "Russian shill" while delivering a Russian shill line worthy of Jackson Hinkle.

It’s insane to give over $100 billion to Ukraine and to sabotage all peace talks.

Vatnik score: 9.5/10.  Would have been an 8, but the "sabotage peace talks" part put it right up there.

America/the West definitely provoked this war by instigating the CIA coup in 2014 to oust the Ukrainian government for being too closely tied to Russia,

and it’s clear Dumbo Joe and his administration want this war to continue so the MIC can make a huge profit.
