Nothing to be bothered about. The Guardian is only read by lonely remainers betrayed by both the British government and the EU and students filling in time until they can get a place on the fast track management course at PWC and a company car. Such folk can always be ignored
A nation cannot be run by PWC (and alike) alone. So sad You're locked in with these others! They are many and they are growing in numbers.

Unless you have plans to invade Poland ?

who is "they"? And what have they done? And what do You think you know about me? By the way - According to some strange theories here a fired worker does more damage to his nation than an unfired one ("no time no crime") so kudos to Deutschland having to bear me. ;) that was already a poor trigger at the end of the last century. Booo...oooring. To get back on topic There are several busses between Germany and Poland available. And busses are a much-used part of public transportation in Poland - not only in Warsaw...

In one of your earlier posts you suggested that you knew more than your managers and took early retirement, which is usually code for getting the Spanish Archer. I am glad to see that I was wrong, that you remain in full employment and are able to shoulder the burden of the German economy.

This is not "firing" - their offer was quite good! If they had tried to fire me it would have been their bad - it was my decision to take that offer that I had negotiated better than David Davis and David Frost together. ( I was still free to reject it if I had wanted to ) And I do need the time for restructuring my life after both my mother and my nephew died in December 2020. Also more time for my little arthouse movie cinema club! I shoulder the burden of supporting Deutschlands Kulturlandschaft.

The plural of bus is buses, nobbi, not busses. I know you like me to correct any of the, very few, mistakes you make.

Actually, nobbi, looks like I jumped the gun: Not sure about that first statement. Busses is used more often in the US than the UK, but even in the US, buses is still the preference of most people.

Plenty of buses in London, although oddly enough, I can't remember the last time I saw a passenger reading the Guardian.
How can you tell what they're reading on their phones or other "devices"? I forgot to mention the Guardian journalist I know who doesn't have a car and would have to use the 17 to get to work. I wonder if he reads the paper on the bus.
