Germany: Interior minister gets tough on organized crime Matthias von Hein Interior Minister Nancy Faeser would see members of organized criminal groups collectively deported – regardless of whether they have been convicted of a crime. www.dw.com/en/germany-interior-minister-gets-tough-on-organized-crime/a-66467396No doubt the liberal hand wringers will ensure it doesn't see the light of day, but excellent try, missus.

Association with organised crime without an actual criminal conviction might not be enough justification for sending someone to prison but it sure as hell should be enough to deport them - especially if they are not EU citizens.

"Human rights" and other bogus shite. If this were the UK government proposing such a measure, nobbi would be all over this thread like a rash.

So I’m guessing that Germany’s past immigration policies were a success? 😏

Could take a page from El Salvador's book as a way of dealing with them:

Deport them where? ("Where they came from") What if they come from Germany? And what about ethnic white criminal gangs? And just how do you determine who is or isn't a member anyway?

Faeser's proposal is also being viewed in light of her candidacy for the job of state premier in Hessen, where elections are scheduled for October.
And if she wins she is going to resign as Germany's interior minister and the whole crime gang thing will soon be water under the bridge for her, whereas Herbert Reul has been fighting gang crime for years in North-Rhein-Westphalia.

It’s the same in the UK.
Where are you now Ronnie and Reggie, Jack the Hat McVitie and the Richardsons?
Now the London underworld is ruled by Albanians, Kurds and Turks.
I miss the good old days!

If they’re German citizens they can’t be deported obviously. Exactly! And there is another important point. There already is a law against the formation of criminal unions, see "Strafgesetzbuch (StGB) § 129 Bildung krimineller Vereinigungen" www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/__129.htmlBut being automatically categorized as criminal just bc you have been born into a criminal family ("clan") is not constitutional - (at least so I guess) @jilltheoneandonly Man muss sich ja echt für die SPD schämen...

Nothing shameful about it. Nowhere is she proposing people will be deported automatically if they are related to the clan. There has to be evidence of wrongdoing, albeit a criminal conviction may not be necessary. Common sense imo.
