Leverkusen-Gladbach just about to start. This should be good. 0-0 so far. Pretty entertaining though. Gladbach had the best chance, I felt. Ex-Celt Frimpong is fairly quiet, but he seems to have been having a good season, attracting interest from elsewhere.

Sitter from Frimpong!

Frimpong was rather Celtic-y in the second half! But I must say that that was a highly entertaining 0-0 draw. Gladbach defended magnificently, but Leverkusen perhaps overcomplicated things when attacking. Häxan is fantastic, I trust you enjoyed it.

Tonight's offerings -
17.30 Hamburg-Hannover 19.30 Dortmund-Freiburg
I should probably talk to the ball and chain at some point, but may watch both. Dortmund are quite unsatisfying to watch (as ever) as a team but they do have some great players. Florian Wirtz in particular was excellent last week in an otherwise unmemorable game. Which I have duly forgotten. There is a slight possibility that Morton-Motherwell, on at the same time, may be worth watching.

Hamburg 3 Hannover 4. A cracking game which sees the former shaping up for yet another epic failure to get promotion, and the latter joining the hunt. It would have been even better without the 25-30 minute interruption caused by a protest - lots of tennis balls being thrown on the pitch. For the second weekend in a row. The commentator was very vague, but I think it's to do with changes to the 50+1 ownership rule, which the DFB have been trying to force through for several years. I'm in agreement with the protestors, but it's a pain in the arse nonetheless.

Hopefully Bayer Leverkusen's 30 game unbeaten streak gets extended tonight. Will be the first bundesliga game of the year I will watch on TV.

I'm currently agog, as this match may or may not be on Sky's Youtube channel. Youtube says it is, but LiveFootballOnTv says not. I will find out later, but would like to know now. I saw Leverkusen a couple of weeks ago, as mentioned above, and they were very good despite failing to score.

The top of the table clash in La Liga between Real Madrid and Girona is definitely live on ITV4 at 5.30pm. Or ITVX for a better picture.

I'm getting this on my laptop - - God knows what Tactical Stream is, but I guess I'll find out. I was just discussing IRL how excruciatingly dull I find Spanish football, so will pass on the alternative.
