So was the death and resurrection also a parable? Shouldn’t be taken literally? There is more than meets the eye to all those stories. That's what I mean by taking them literally. They go beyond that. There was a crucifixion and a resurrection, but it's not what most people think. Then maybe he really means that he could be wondering the earth while also with his Father in Heaven. He could anywhere or anybody. Or many people all at once.

So was the death and resurrection also a parable? Shouldn’t be taken literally? if I may, the esoteric Christian teaching is that we all have to die and be reborn into the faith to grow. To be clear here I am not talking about an adult baptism and becoming a born again Christian, I am talking about a death of the materially focused person and a rebirth into a spiritual being. The teaching is that it does not matter if Jesus existed or not, or if what is described happened to him, rather that what is described is a analogy of the spiritual path we must take. This of course allies with the idea that all religions hold some truths, as there are so many religions that have the basic jesus myth. I think this is the mature, 21st c. version of being a Christian. You actually have faith that in some sense the message of Christ is True. Love others as self is not about being nice to or tolerating others. But seeing them as a part of yourself no matter who they are or what they do before you judge them.

Jesus is the king of your being so what would you do for others since you’re his spokesperson in your kingdom? You should have the same abilities of Love to work some miracles.

To be honest I think that is a whole 'nother subject, we are all the universe experiencing itself, we are all the same star dust.

If God exist, and the soul exist, and we have a soul, and the soul is the divine inside of us, and the soul is a part of God, than we are all part of God, which means we are all God.
But that is a big IF

And he could be right next door, but your pride keeps getting in the way of you recognizing him.

Are you passing judgment against me? Just remember, when you point your finger at someone, there are three more pointing back at you.

I kind of hate that you get the message of Jesus so accurately both in exoteric and to a lesser extent esoteric ways and you are still an atheist, however I am gonna let it slide. :|

I stumbled on a YouTube video of a guy who argued that God cannot be divided or he is not a god. His argument went something like, God takes part of himself and makes angels, part of himself to make the universe, part of himself to make life, part of himself to make Jesus, etc. So, we are all God. There was more to it but I didn't finish watching, but if anyone is interested, I might be able to find it again.
