So Jason is a Twilek-human hybrid? IDK is that silly? Yes and yes

So Ahsoka is looking for Sabine and is told that Sabine left her imprint on the busted star map device. So Ahsoka holds it and then she hears the complete audio of a scene that happened a day (or a ‘rotation’) or so before. What bullshit! The force is whatever horseshit you want it to be now.
I can see what they were trying to achieve and if Ahsoka had a brief vision or sense of what transpired, ok, whatever. But she heard the entire playback of the audioclip from a scene which happened the equivalent of days before! It’s stupid.

Episode 6- probably the best episode but that doesn’t mean it’s redeemed itself. I don’t think that’s possible.
The scene introducing Thrawn was quite good but why isn’t every scene good? A show with a good scene here and there is not a good show.
Also I’ve heard rumours about rebooting Star Wats by relocating the setting to this new galaxy and if true, what is the point? The Star Wars universe is infinitely large. I mean, you can just make up a new planet and new species. Star Wars writers have always done that. Plus the span of Star Wars chronology is decades at least, even centuries and millenniums. So writers aren’t limited by any kind of parameters.
I heard one commentator (Doomcock on Overlord DVD) say that the point is that in this new galaxy it is the force that is different. That only females can wield it and that men can only wield it if they’re evil. Now that sounds far fetched. I doubt even Disney would try to change Star Wars that much.

They're not rebooting anything. Doomcock just makes shit up for the lulz. Occasionally entertaining, but complete BS.

Were you one of those people who thought his prediction that Mando was going to ignore the sequels?

I haven’t watched it so maybe I’d enjoy it if I did, but from what I’ve seen it seems to be a close sequel of sorts to Rebels, which I wasn’t much a fan of (though the good stuff is really solid).
Filoni making his own little TV universe is interesting (and the Clone Wars show and first two seasons of Mando are good), but I feel like he needs to get to the point. All these shows just keep piling lore and characters to the point that it becomes somewhat trivial. There’s not an overarching story.

Poor Star Wars. I wish people would finally just stop watching this crap that The Mouse puts out. This is one Filoni. He's been at this since 2008. He's the ones calling the shots on most of these shows and his cult eats it up. He keeps bringing back the same characters. They are a crutch to him and they love it.

Seems very niche. I know that Clone Wars show was popular but not on the level of the movies. Their biggest mistake is diluting the brand. Star Wars has little value as an IP anymore.

I mean, it has an audience, but it's definitely for Clone Wars and Rebels fans. They act like this shit is on-par with the movies, but it's not. It's a TV version of the old books: there's people who followed it and followed it loyally, but it's popularity is contained and I wouldn't say the average movie goer cares.

These people are fucking nuts. It's definitely niche, but there's a cult-like following. They're fucking obsessed with Filoni, his characters, and that era. They refuse to let it go.
Back when you and I were kids, Vader was not only a villain, but he was a fucking monster. But these kids who grew up on the prequels or The Clone Wars are fucking obsessed with "AnAkiN!" He's was a piece of shit. He's not a victim or a fallen hero. He's one of the greatest villains of all times, but these fucking kids are obsessed with making him some folk hero and victim. It dominates all conversations about the franchise now and it's annoying as shit.

It would be cool if Ray Stevenson kills Ahsoka and Sabine and Ezra and the Twilek girl. Bye bye, losers.
