Forest Green Rovers set a new EFL record yesterday...
We've done it 🏆
A new EFL record. The first ever club to go 31 consecutive league games without scoring more than 1 goal in any match.
And we couldn't have done it without Big Dunc being so massively rubbish.

I always knew they had it in them. Congrats. It took hard work and dedication since January to be this rubbish. But now we've taken that crown off of previous record holders Grimsby Town*, I wouldn't mind if we now went back to, oh I don't know... scoring some fecking goals! * At least when we play Grimsby this season, we will be able to chant at them... We're shitter than you,

Shame really, I always enjoyed Grimsby visiting. Their fans are mostly good natured and entertaining. Said incident with Grimsby fan in a choke hold by overly enthusiastic steward...  |

That goes back to an incident at TNL some years ago involving one of their supporters and a shall we say 'overly enthusiastic' steward at a game. Shame really, I always enjoyed Grimsby visiting. Their fans are mostly good natured and entertaining. Said incident with Grimsby fan in a choke hold by overly enthusiastic steward... He’s lucky Big Dunc didn’t get involved! |

Grimsby fans have a specific reason for a grudge with us. But the reason a lot of other clubs fans dislike us is because of our off pitch environmental sustainability initiatives, and being a vegan club... By the way, FGR won the EFL award for best match day food and drink across all three leagues last season (about the only thing we did win last season). The other reason we are disliked is because fans say we are too small to be in the football league... Well, we may be a village team, but we earned our place in the EFL on the pitch. |

But, after taking 129 years, or something like that, to reach the Football League, it would be a shame to get back to back relegation out of it now. |

Yeah, footie fans aren't the wokest bunch. It's not about 'wokery'... They are just being arseholes. We have always said to fans, we offer high quality (award winning) vegan food and drink... If you really can't go 90 minutes without eating meat, you are welcome to bring your own meat sandwiches, pies, pasties, etc. we just aren't producing or selling it. The same as eejits who think FGR players must be vegan... Any meals they have at the training ground, or at TNL are vegan (balanced nutrition, delicious, menus formulated by nutritionists, and our top chef), but they can eat meat if they want away from it. |
