No, it wasn't an insurrection because they were there to protest, not storm the building and force legislators to not perform their legally mandated duties. There it is. Oh legally mandated duties in place of government procedure nice. The president forced into a bunker isn’t an interruption of his duties? ‘He didn’t even get caught on fire!’ The president wasn't "forced" into a bunker, you disingenuous fart. The Secret Service escorted him there as a precaution, IN CASE the crowd made a move on the White House. Which they never did, so they brought Trump back up again. |

Did they enter the White House? Attempted treason is still treason. Failure is not a defense. What did they attempt, exactly? Did they attempt to take the White House? No. Did they attempt to capture Trump? No. Did they attempt to overthrow the government? No. It's quoted from Wikipedia, with citations to reliable external sources. Feel free to do your own reseerch. Yes, the quoted bit is fine, but the quoted bit says nothing about treason or insurrection. Try reading it again: it says "protesters". Because that's what they were doing: protesting. |

No, they were trying to raid the white house and harm the sitting president and probably burn it down. This was months before the election. Do you have some kind of brain damage? I fail to see the treason in the OP...looks like a bunch of yay-hoos looking to rabble rouse...not a calculated insurrection aimed at overturning an election... They escorted him to the bunker IN CASE it was an insurrection. It's a standard precaution. When it turned out that it wasn't, Trump was let back up again. |

No, there was no attack on the White House. If that were the case, no way in hell would the Secret Service have allowed Trump back up after a mere HOUR. They escorted him to the bunker IN CASE it was an insurrection. It's a standard precaution. When it turned out that it wasn't, Trump was let back up again. Tell that to all the guards that were sent to the hospital. Unlike at the Capitol which was purposefully undermanned, the WH guards prevented the seditionists from entering and possibly killing the president. |

Actually the Kool Aid drops, even the orange ones, taste good and are handy to have with a sammich lunch for long bike rides. (I also like the cherry and grape. Very handy to have.
