Since there was so much activity on the first NFL thread, I figured I would start a new thread to discuss each week’s games. Discuss week 2 here. It is our teams, Packers vs Falcons, that are playing against each other this week. Let's make a deal and be fair gentlemen to each other no matter the outcome and be respectful of the other. If we chat about it let's show the board how it is done between fans of different teams playing each other. I am looking forward to this matchup to see how this newer Packers team will do on the road and with an indoor stadium. Good luck to your guys and let's have a great game! |

I never take it personally when the Falcons lose, and they’ve lost plenty. I don’t get wound up discussing sports the way I sometimes do with politics - I always have nice conversations with people on the sports board even if I don’t agree with their politics. So yeah I always try to be respectful of fans of other teams. I’m looking forward to this Falcons/Packers game - both teams have reasons to be encouraged after their week 1 victories. I hope Ridder continues to evolve as a passer for the Falcons and I hope they can find a nice offensive balance. I look forward to seeing how Love does for the Packers, he was very good in Week 1. Should be a fun game! |

Absolute devastating turnover for the Vikings to end the 1st half as Justin Jefferson fumbled into the end zone for a touchback when he was about to score. And the Eagles wound up getting a FG as the half ended, and lead it 13-7. Vikings just can’t have turnovers like that.

Cousins strip sacked and the Eagles get a quick TD. Turnovers are killing the Vikings.

Hurts to Smith for a TD bomb! I knew it was just a matter of time, the Vikings secondary is dreadful, Smith totally burned them on that play. 27-7 Eagles.

Cousins to Addison for a long TD - Vikings really needed that. The Vikings are completely one dimensional, they have no rushing attack.

Cousins is picking apart the Eagles defense - the Vikings could be winning this game if not for the turnovers. I’m not at all impressed by the Eagles defense, and Hurts isn’t playing his best game.

Eagles win it 34-28. The Eagles didn’t look great, they ran the ball very well but their defense struggled, the Vikings put up a good fight but the turnovers killed them, you just can’t turn the ball over 4 times on the road against a team like the Eagles and win.
