Absolute devastating turnover for the Vikings to end the 1st half as Justin Jefferson fumbled into the end zone for a touchback when he was about to score. And the Eagles wound up getting a FG as the half ended, and lead it 13-7. Vikings just can’t have turnovers like that. Stupid rule. An improvement would be to give the ball to the Eagles at the spot of the fumble. Give them a long field with the Vikings having an opportunity to get a safety, Putting it at the 20 is free money. |

Jalen Hurts isn't a real QB. He's not good at the position. He's an athletic kid who wants to win, but was never told he's playing the wrong position. He runs first. That's his instinct. To run. He doesn't have a good arm. He's an athletic game manager. You can win with game managers. Several times have. Hell, we did with Foles. It helps that we have 2 good receivers and a decent TE.
Somewhat realted, this made me chuckle:
Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis excite me. Two young monsters who could be on the roster for a very long time. Not sure why we signed Penny. Cousins looked good..... for a bit. That's kinda his thing. |

Jets vs Cowboys. Who you got? I think the Cowboys will beat the Jets - the Cowboys have a stellar defense with a very strong pass rush, and I expect them to give the Jets O-Line a lot of trouble. Only way the Jets win is if Dak sucks and the Cowboys can’t establish a rushing game - the Jets have a good enough defense and rushing game to keep them in it, but Wilson will have to do something against the Cowboys and that will be challenging. I’m not counting the Jets out the way some people are, they are talented, but the Cowboys are a tough matchup for them. |

The players, coaches, owner and Ralph (Karate Kid) Macchio who stopped by for a visit, were all hyped up for this team. I think largely because of Rodgers. Well, is the hype still there without the overrated Rodge? Sure they beat the Bills but I doubt it would have gone into OT with Rodge there. I reluctantly think they could win but mostly agree with you. Dallas will prob. be the better team. And they have a SB winning coach which may help them as well. This one I think will be a better test for the Jets and we shall see how they carry on with the back up. |

I didn’t watch Hard Knocks, don’t have HBO, but yeah I agree all of the media hype around the Jets is mainly because of Rodgers - he was the final piece they needed to make the team a Super Bowl contender, and now they are back to having Wilson at QB. The Bills have a strong team, although I think Josh Allen is overrated, and he cost them the game on Monday, so it was an impressive win for the Jets, but it will be very tough for them to go into Jerry World and beat the Cowboys - the Cowboys look like one of the top 3 NFC teams this year, and their defense is excellent at each level, very aggressive and forces a lot of mistakes, and that doesn’t bode well for Wilson or the Jets shaky O-Line. If the Jets win tomorrow I’ll be very impressed. |
